– ‘THE MEDICINE CABINET” Questions from “Joey Pals”.
1. Have heard 2 vaccines WILL NOT protect us from Omicron variant? (The df. of fully vaccinated will change to include the BOOSTER. 2 vaccines will be “helpful” against the Omicron Variant, but the 3rd vaccine (Moderna best) is best against the Omicron Virus.)
2. Double masks….pro and con. (Because Omicron is so easily transmitted and enters thru the nostrils mostly (unlike the Delta, that went into the lungs) so double GOOD masks.  The KN95 and wear it over your nose, tightly fitting.  Vaccinated or not).
3. There is an Oregon study that says if you are vaccinated and have a break-thru infection, will you then have super immunity? (If you have 3 shots and then get the virus, yes, you will have a better immune response.)
4. What is “hybrid immunity”? (To be continued.)
5. Is a rapid test enough to spot the Omicron Virus? (Rapid tests are not considered accurate enough in many settings.  They become more accurate the more we have a circulating virus. The government will be sending test kits TO YOUR HOME.)
6. If you are fully vaccinated you don’t have to worry about the Omicron Variant. (The D.O.H.C. employees are showing infections even thought they are fully vaccinated…BUT HAVE VERY SLIGHT SYMPTOMS).
