– DISCUSSION of the tuna salad that was voted “Best in the Valley” by P.S. Life Magazine.
– REPORT on summer. All locations are open normal hours, open @ 7 AM. All are closed on Sundays. Can dine inside and out @ all locations too. Still take-out of course. Masks required inside.
– REPORT on the 5 different salads.
– REPORT on the 30 different kinds of breads. No preservatives in any of their breads. They employ the services of a “bread chemist”. i.e. pumpkin chocolate chip bread, etc. MAKE GREAT GIFTS.
– REPORT on the different sandwiches.
– REPORT on the muffins, cookies, round cakes, brownies, low carb breads, etc.
– REPORT on juices, water, coffee etc.
– DISCUSSION that everything is made from scratch w/ real butter, etc. The baking goes on around the clock.

– REPORT that we are in our 84th week of Pandemic
– REPORT that D.O.H.C. has vaccinated 30,000 folks.  All D.O.H.C. employees.  No appointment needed, just show up.
– REPORT on the report from the President of the IDSA who said the end was no where in sight.  Brian disagrees.
– REPORT that the 2nd surge was the end of July.  The Delta vs. Alpha variant. Now the numbers are so much better. Delta is now 99% of all of the virus today. Only about 40 cases in hospital now.
– REPORT that a new variant came and went.  BUT E48Q mutation might escape the immune therapies.
– REPORT that the Delta is so predominate that we won’t see another variant for some time.
– REPORT that we should be moving into the pediatric vaccination cycle soon.
– REPORT that the scientific community is monitoring all aspects of the virus, the spike protein etc. CONSTANTLY. Delta continues to dominate the “race”. Progress is being made.
– DISCUSSION that flu and Covid vaccinations available @ all three D.O.H.C. locations, Palm Springs, Indio and Yucca Valley.  Drive-thru too.  D.O.H.C. has vaccinated 28,000 CV residents.

1. Are ingredients in deodorant a cause of breast cancer? (Studied a lot.  Anything that get swollen near your breast.  Aluminum kind of clogs your pores and cause the swelling.)
2. Is there a new aspirin that does NOT cause ulcers? (Studied for 80 years. USPSTF now says if you are 60 and above and have cardio risk factors, talk to your doctor. If you are 40 – 59 DON’T START IT. Risk start @ 60).
3. Do COVID have long-term effects on the brain? (Called long-tailed COVID can possibly cause Myopic Encephalomyelitis. The brain actually causes all the OTHER effects.  No answer yet.).
4. Is there a blood test for cancer? (Yes. Shows “tumor markers” in your blood.)
