P. S. AIDS MEMORIAL SCULPTURE w/ Jeff Jurasky. re: @ the P.S. Downtown Park. Jeff is an interior designer who has a history w/ Steve Chase.
– REPORT on the fundraising efforts for the sculpture.
– REPORT on the artist, Phillip K. Smith donating his time to create this work in his studio in Palm Desert.
– DISCUSSION of the 9-foot diameter work made of limestone that resembles a donut w/ different looks on each side. It’s the artist’s vision of the loss and trauma of dealing w/ aids.

3. Do artificial sweeteners kill antibiotic resistant bacteria? (Yes, they kill bacteria in a test tube setting. Studying whether using artificial sweeteners in some form in antibiotics is effective. Have had great results in wound studies.)
4. Is there such a thing as a “smart bandage” that helps heal wounds? (Yes, Stanford developed one w/ wireless circuity that senses temperature and fluid presence, etc. Increases healing time.)
5. After having Covid, I got sleep apnea. Why? (Studies DO NOT show a connection @ this point in time. Perhaps some connection w/ only the worst cases of Covid.)
6. Is it true that men are not using condoms as much anymore and STD cases are up? (Over 10 years significant drop is condom use. Because we have such great HIV treatments etc.,)
