3. Rigid boundaries are NOT healthy.
4. Porous boundaries or enmeshment boundaries are NOT healthy.
5. Boundaries are flexible and are different for different aspects of your life.

AGUA CALIENTE BAND OF CAHUILLA INDIANS w/ Cathedral City Fire Chief John Muhr. One of the organizations being graciously supported thru the co-ordination of Kate Anderson for the Tribe.
– DISCUSSION of the terms Battalian Chief, Fire Chief, etc., 14 people per shift each day, 7 days a week. 3 Platoons, etc. His history coming up thru the ranks. His 33 years of service. 20 years in Hemet, came to P.S. in 2009.
– REPORT that as Fire Chief he doesn’t respond to incidents per say.
– DISCUSSION of the “child in all of us” that love the red fire engines. The “respect factor” of people pulling to the side of the road when they hear a siren.
– HISTORY of the Dalmatians Dogs who use to ride on the older fire “steamers”.
– REPORT that they actually share their jurisdiction w/ the Tribe. How the Tribe provided personal protective clothing for the fire fighters, some new equipment that was really needed (that was outside the budget in place) and even the new fire station in Cathedral City.
– REPORT on the new computer system in concert w/ the police department that has been provided w/ help from the Tribe. Now there are computer terminals in the fire engines.
– REPORT that they run 6500 calls a year and these terminals in the fire engines, command vehicles and ambulances have really helped.
– DISCUSSION of the different levels of dispatches.
– REPORT on the weight of the equipment fire fighters wear on their back.

– REPORT that Sher is currently writing her Memorial Day television commercial.
– REPORT that Mike Thompson will have special Memorial Day prices for any and all military personnel.
– REPORT that inventory is low but they are starting to get new RV’s as the supply line starts to open up again.
– REPORT that she is focusing on “Class B” full motor homes/RV’s. These are 20’, 22’ and 24’ long. You can drive these AND park them as well. They don’t have to be plugged in, just sit like a car. Costs range all over, but $105,000. For a brand new one. Pre-owned ones are less. Many have lithium batteries and you can go “off the grid” w/ a Class B RV.
– REPORT on how to park an RV @ your house. All are self-contained. All come w/ a battery.
– REPORT on the orientation classes that are a minimum of 2 hours for all first-time buyers AND a contact number for help.
– DISCUSSION that people usually put under 5,000 miles a year on their RV on average.
