DESERT OASIS HEALTHCARE w/ Dr. Brian Hodgkins re: Executive V.P. of Clinical Operations; 275 El Cielo Rd., Palm Springs, 92262. “Your Health, Your Life, Our Passion”. Leads the COVID-10 Taskforce.
– REPORT that we are starting our 58th week of the Pandemic and we are IN THE ORANGE ZONE!!!!!
– REPORT that Riverside County has had a small uptick in cases, now 3.6 new daily cases. Riverside County has given 1.3 million vaccines, over half our population. D.O.H.C. has vaccinated over 30,000 persons.
– REPORT that California may get to the YELLOW TIER in a few weeks, the least restrictive tier. The state has given over 4 million vaccines!!! Hopefully this will happen June 15. Yellow is the last tier.
– REPORT that D.O.H.C. is now partnered w/ Desert Arc, P.S Unified School District, & Desert Sands School District w/ their Mobile Unit.
– REPORT that there are only 14 positive cases in our 3 hospitals.
– QUESTIONS FROM “JOEY PALS”.
1. Is the benefits of the vaccine transmitted thru Mother’s milk to nursing infants? (No sure about this, but if the Mother got vaccinated during pregnancy she is transmitting the antibodies to the newborn).
2. Can you get the vaccine thru a “v-safe” app? (It is a voluntary way to report your reactions to the vaccine via your phone).
3. Will the mutations of the virus render the vaccine we have now ineffective in a year? (Don’t know yet. But the variants we have now are being controlled good by the vaccine.)

DESERT OASIS HEALTHCARE w/ Dr. Brian Hodgkins re: Executive V.P. of Clinical Operations; 275 El Cielo Rd., Palm Springs, 92262. “Your Health, Your Life, Our Passion”. Leads the COVID-10 Taskforce.
– CONT. QUESTIONS FROM “JOEY PALS”.
1. How to speak to people who are fearful of getting the vaccine. (Tell them they are not going to get sick and they are not going to die. This is a difficult discussion).
2. What if someone has an allergy to the vaccine? (we won’t know until AFTER they get the vaccine, but the precautions after one gets the vaccine are strident. Patients who have had reactions to other vaccines are given their shot in the Immediate Care Facility).
3. How can I get an exemption (vaccine passport)? (You have a card if you’ve been vaccinated, but coming are companies that you give proof of your allergy to and they will send you a bar code to download on your phone. Employers can make rules saying you can’t work w/out a vaccine. Different types of exemptions. Perhaps “vaccine passport” will be sold in the next few months.)
4. Is there MSG in the vaccine? (No, but other things are in these brittle vaccines that may be causing the allergic reactions, but they are in micro-doses. It is used in many preparations to stabilize them.)
5. How do folks fearful of getting vaccinated deal w/ this? (You can call the D.O.H.C. number and they will be treated w/ special care, discussions, information and consideration. (760) 969-6555.)
– REPORT that there is already a “black market” for these vaccination cards.

WHITEHEAD & ASSOCIATES w/ Gary Whitehead re:.
– REPORT on Whitehead & Associates Services. He’s a “mediator”. Traditional attorneys bill @ $300 to $600/hr. He tries to resolve situations for clients FOR FREE @ first over the phone. The next step of hiring him or trying to solve things on one’s own can follow.
– REPORT that Gary can create documents for folks to file in their respective courts. This scenario works best when things are uncontested. Doing the paperwork by yourself is very complicated. If only one thing is wrong the package cannot be filed and is returned!!! However, there is FREE advice if one wants to go to the courts in Indio. BEST TO HAVE GARY DO THIS.
– DISCUSSION that his job is to bring people together in a friendly, adult way to try to resolve their issues. ADVICE IS FREE w/ the first phone call.
– FYI an uncontested divorce w/ no child-custody issues is less than $1,000. File fees are waived.
– REPORT on more of his services. Simple wills for $250/300. Revocable trust for less than $800. Business formations/llc for around $350.
– GARY DOES THINGS RIGHT THE FIRST TIME.
– REPORT that he works in Riverside, San Bernadino and Los Angeles Counties. The forms are the same. Most of the paper work can be done over the phone/zoom/etc. After he sends the documents he will talk you through what they mean.
– DISCUSSION that the forms have gotten more complicated and mistakes are costly. The issue will get rejected and stalled/dismissed in these instances.
– REPORT that Gary can track the progress of your issues easily and report to you.
