Cont. D.O.H.C. w/ Dr. Lindsey Valenzuela Vice President of Population Health and Health Integration and Dr. Tiffany Po a pharmacist @ D.O.H.C. re:
275 El Cielo Rd., Palm Springs, 92262. “Your Health, Your Life, Our Passion”.
cont. QUESTIONS IN THE MEDICINE CABINET from; Dr. Lindsey, Dr. Brian, news, Internet and Joey Pals in the “Medicine Cabinet”.
3. What and why about portable oxygen machines? (They furnish CLEANER and BETTER oxygen to the patient. The portable machines are perfectly safe. They purify the air for the patient. All you really want to breathe is oxygen, not nitrogen etc. May or may not have to sleep w/ it. Too much oxygen is not good either. Tank requires a prescription.)
4. Are there “different” flu shots? (Yes, D.O.H.C. has different ones. They are trivalent, not quadrivalent because one of the strains is not around, so it was taken out of the vaccine. Perhaps the Covid and Flu vaccines will be combined. Recommendations for RSV vaccine has changed this year. For most of the population, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime shot. NEW COVID vaccine this year. If it’s been more than 2 months since you last Covid Vaccine, time for another one.)
