1. What changes are coming? (Hard to predict. Medicare starts @ age 65. If you are already receiving SS, your MEDICARE card will show up in the mail; Part B is optional because it has a premium of $180. Each month. Otherwise, you DO NOT have to stick w/ your employer’s coverage, you can choose Medicare which usually has better coverage for less money. When it comes to Medicare, after they get SSDI for 24 months they become eligible for Medicare regardless of their age.)
– REPORT that Medicaid is particular to individual states.
– REPORT that he belongs to the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals. (NABIP)
– DISCUSSION of the changes to MEDICARE PART D – the most utilized component of your Medicare because you take your medications EVERY DAY.
– REPORT on Medicare Part D. For drugs. Most Medicare Advantage Plans have this. Medicare is going to put a cap in 2025 on the out-of-pocket maximum of $2000. for Part D. GREAT.
– DISCUSSION of the insurance problems in California, due to the actions of the Insurance Commissioner.
Possible limit of $2,000. for out-of-pocket costs. Affects the formulary going forward. 33% of personal costs will go up to 50% next year.
– REPORT on Medicare Part D. For drugs. Most Medicare Advantage Plans have this. Medicare is going to put a cap in 2025 on the out-of-pocket maximum of $2000. for Part D. GREAT.
REPORT on Change to Medicare Part D, which is your prescription drugs. You can get this one of 2 ways;
a. GOOD NEWS; Putting an “out of pocket” maximum on Part D. $2,000. Max. This will automatically change, established by CMS (Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services).

2. RFK, Jr. has cancelled FREE Covid Vaccinations for persons under 65. Why? (The new Covid Vaccination has not been developed yet. The costs will now be $100 to $200/per person. Still have 300 deaths a week.)
3. What is Hepatitis C? (Viral infection spread thru blood contact. Still around. Symptoms are bleeding, bruises, jaundice, weight loss. Prevalent among drug users. Is diagnosed by a blood test and possibly a liver biopsy. Can be cured.)
4. Can I stay in a hot tub longer than 10 minutes? (Depends on your health, your heart, how hydrated you are, if you are drinking. Best not to stay in a hot tub alone though)
