– Provides Hospice Care to thousands of people throughout the Coachella Valley and Hi-Desert Communities since 2006. Hospice takes place where you live.
– Hospitals have a palliative (comfort) care facility, not a hospice care facility.
– Hospice patients have a “limited prognosis” for life of 6 months or less, and want to control how, where and when they die for the most part.
– If you die a “natural death” in either your home or a hospital you do not necessarily need an autopsy.
– SAVE THE DATE: 3/21 – T.R. Barto will conduct the annual “Remembrance Celebration”. 2 – 4:30 PM @ the Mizell Senior Center in Palm Springs. Music, refreshments, photos, and fellowship. Chance to meet the social, home health, coordinators, and administrative staffs.
