– REPORT that Dementia Help Center is the rescue plan for family caregivers.
– REPORT that 70% of caregivers caring for a family member w/ dementia will develop a chronic life-threatening condition OR DIE before their loved one.
– REPORT on how the DHC handles the “timing” of dealing w/ your loved one if something happens to YOU.
– DISCUSSION of how to know when it is time for you to “step away” from being a caregiver and becoming a caremanager.

– REPORT that coverage thru THE FOUNDATION is based on a sliding income scale.  NVC will do ALL the paperwork. Possible payment of part of the $85./day costs.
– REPORT on every Wednesday. – The “Open Mic Night” Wednesdays in the Foundation Lounge.  Sign up starts @ 6 PM. Accompanied by Mr. Joel Baker. Appetizers and a “donation” bar too. WARING INTERNATIONAL PIANO COMPETITION w/ Ann Greer re: 73-710 Fred Waring Dr., Palm Desert.
– REPORT that the Senior Competition began Sunday.  Classical music since 1978 @ the COD Campus.  Became a non-profit in 1983.
– REPORT that later today is the Solo semi-finals w/ 8 pianists.
– REPORT that these contestants are ready for the concert stage.  They have 75 minutes of memorized material to even enter the competition.
– DISCUSSION that most of the contestants are studying here in the U.S.
– REPORT that every day @ COD’s Pollock Theatre the events are FREE until Friday afternoon @ 4 PM for the Solo Finals when a $45. ticket will be required. Wednesday and Thursday are the Concerto Finals w/ a 2nd piano. Monday night w/ a full orchestra @ the McCallum.
