– REPORT The Tram is the #1 Tourist attraction in the C.V. and the best place to celebrate EVERYTHING.
– REPORT that there IS STILL SNOW up there AND the views are amazing. You can see for 50 miles.
– DISCUSSION on the menu for Peaks, Pine Café, Lookout Lounge.
– DISCUSSION of the food @ Lookout Lounge.
– DISCUSSION of the food @ Pines Café.
– DISCUSSION of the food @ Peaks.
– DISCUSSION of similar food @ the Lookout Lounge.
– REPORT on the wonderful drinks i.e. the chocolate expresso martini etc.,
– REPORT that “Peaks” is open 7 days a week from 11 AM – 4 PM for lunch and 5 – 11 PM for dinner.
– REPORT that “Pines Café” is for grab and go and families and “Lookout Lounge” for bar fare and the menu from Peaks as well. Open for lunch and dinner from 5 to 8 PM 7 days a week.
Ride ‘n Dine available. Great children’s menu too.

– QUESTIONS IN THE MEDICINE CABINET from; Dr. Lindsey, Dr. Brian, news, Internet and Joey Pals in the “Medicine Cabinet”.
1. Is there more cancer in young people now? (Yes, Harvard/ACS study shows that in younger Americans, 18-49 there is more colon cancer especially. Colon Cancer is #1 cause of death in males and #2 cause of death in women. They are running a “birth cohort evaluation”. Also appears to be linked to accelerated biologic aging.)
2. I am a twin, and I’ve been told we will live longer than a single birthed person. (Yes, especially boy sets and identical sets. Has to do w/ the close social connection throughout life. 6% increase in longevity. Same thing seems to apply to married folks because of the social connection.)

3. Is there a pill to cure addiction? (NO. Addictionologists’ research shows none yet. Folks have to cure their addiction BECAUSE THEY WANT TO.)
5. What is thyroid eye disease? (An autoimmune disease that is 8 times more likely in females. It is bad, but there are lots of therapies. New drugs coming along, but the cost is $40,000 a dose and you need 8 doses. Can also lead to hearing loss.)

– FUN DISCUSSION about all the children in his commercial BEING HIS. LOL. He got the children thru his association w/ the YMCA and latch-key kids. GREAT STORY of them working w/ no scripts.
– MISSION STATEMENT; Representing people who would otherwise NOT be represented in a fight against an insurance company. He advances the funds for the litigation and doesn’t collect unless he wins.
– DISCUSSION of his commitment to serving the community and where it came from. He believes Democracy cannot succeed w/out education.
In his involvement w/ United Way and the Clinton Foundation he found children cannot READ.
He is committed to helping change this, especially in the East Valley.

– DISCUSSION of “SAFE RIDE HOME”. The initial goal; wanted public awareness; wanted to effect changes in the laws; ½ of all arrests come from public places, not homes; the message advertising sends, especially to younger people;
1. Gives people an opportunity when they know they will be drinking to book a Safe Ride Home without any cost. (up to $50.) Instructions on the website on how to get the credit for Lyft, Uber or a Taxi.

1. Treat. 2. Prescribe. 3. Referrals as needed, 4. Does blood tests right there, delivers it to the lab and gets you the results. 5. Check-ups.
– DEFINITION of an Adult Nurse Practitioner; a nurse who went back to school and has a Master’s Degree and MAKES HOUSE CALLS.
– REPORT on how convenient her services are for many folks for many reasons. Good to know your “starting point” from your blood work.
– QUESTION FROM A “JOEY PAL”?
1. Is Prevagen a good product? (An over-the-counter supplement that is marketed to increase your memory and awareness and decrease further signs of decline. There’s no standard level you can get in a blood draw.)
– REPORT on her concierge services for folks 18 and over.
– REPORT that she is the ONLY nurse practitioner who has this type of practice in the Coachella Valley.

4. She will do the blood draw and deliver it to the labs.

2. Don’t want to sit in the doctor’s office AND WAIT to be seen.

4. How long the wait time is to get an appointment w/ your primary care physician now. Patty can see you in a very timely manner.
– REPORT that you can become a patient w/ a yearly fee or she can bill Medicare and her visits are charged to insurance.
– REPORT that she can write prescriptions. Even for bio-identical hormones as well.
