COACHELLA ACAPELLA w/ Julie Scott and Alan Scott re:
– REPORT that this group is about 4 part harmony for woman. 21 members. 4 and a half years old.
– HOLD THE DATE: Sat. April 20. The Spring Show. “I’m With The Band”; 7 PM @ the Palm Desert High School Performing Arts Center. Tickets range in price.
– DISCUSSION of the program for the April 20 show.
– REPORT on the criteria to join; identify as a female, be able to sing in the treble range and have a love of music.
– REPORT on rehearsals every Tuesday night @ the Rancho Mirage High School Choir Room.
– REPORT on the management team they have.
– DISCUSSION of the outreach program for young women, “AcaChella”. Program is now active in Palm Springs and Cathedral City High Schools. Volunteers go into the schools once a week and work w/ the girls.
– REPORT that COACHELLA ACAPELLA does 2 shows a year.
