– DISCUSSION of Rick’s shelter doggie he got from Animal Samaritans.
– REPORT on “Dogust” being the official birthday month of ALL shelter dogs.
– HOLD THE DATE: 8.26 – “Dogust” goal is to raise $10,000. To help the animals in their “no-kills” shelter.

DRAG BINGO BIRTHDAY BASH @ the Barracks in Cathedral City. Funds and supplies please.
2. DOGUST 26TH from 11 AM to 2 PM – 3RD ANNUAL DOGUST BIRTHDAY BASH @ the Rowan in Palm Springs. $20. To get in includes a full lunch and unlimited wine. Prizes.
3. DONATE toward the $10,000. @ any of their facilities or on-line. You’ll get a badge when you donate.
– REPORT that the shelters are FULL. ADOPT on Ramon Road in Thousand Palms where there is a 2 for 1 adoption for the kittens.
– REPORT that the “no kill” shelter is now open 7 days a week. 10 AM to Noon and 1 – 4 PM.
– REPORT on the dog that was trained to save its owner w/ POTS. Details of a dog sensing the anxiety when an attach in about to happen.
– REPORT that the 1,000 Palms venue has a Pet Ophthalmologist in Dr. Pamela Ko.
