CARREON FOUNDATION w/ Jackie Lopez re: Pres. Of the Board and Chris Martello, Chris Clemens P.R. 41550 Eclectic St., Palm Desert.
– INTRODUCTION by Chris of Jackie Lopez and the Dr. Carreon Foundation.
– REPORT on the mission statement. Founded in 1991 by Dr. Reynaldo J. Carreon. Gives assistance to the Valley’s youth of Mexican-American ancestry in pursuing a higher education and/or vocational training. They must maintain a certain grade point average.
– REPORT that the Carreon Foundation presented 2021 Annual Scholarship Awards totaling over $136,000.00 to 74 winners.
– REPORT that the application process begins Feb., 2022.
– REPORT that there is always a need for sponsors and donors to help.
– DISCUSSION of the partnership w/ OneFuture CV and the leadership of Ex., Dir., Ricardo Loretta and an able Board of Directors.
