1. Should I bathe my cat and how frequently AND HOW?) Yes, you certainly can. Depends on when they really need cleaning up. Bathing too much gets in the way of their own cleaning systems. Use gentle soap or cat shampoo, rinse thoroughly. No reason to bathe if cat is keeping himself clean.)
– REPORT on bathing dogs. Probably every 6 weeks. Keep the coat untangled, etc. Over-bathing is not good for doggies.

2. What kind of suggestions do you have to ensure long life for our pets? (Basically, healthy, freshest possible food. Raw diet, gently cooked diet. Even vegetables.)

– REPORT TODAY ON WENDY; She was brought into the shelter w/ 9 fractures from either jumping or being thrown out of a car!!!! She had a 5-hour surgery. Went into foster AND GOT ADOPTED. She comes in for therapy @ Barkingham and also swim sessions in her home pool. She’s very relaxed now.
– REPORT TODAY ON ZEKE; He is 12 years old and has a week back. Now he not only can walk better, but RUNS!!!
– REPORT that the majority of Wendy’s work @ Barkingham is to strengthen muscles. Swelling goes down.
– DISCUSSION of how therapeutic massage therapy is to dogs.
– REPORT on “acupressure” and “acupuncture” for dogs as well.
– DISCUSSION that her sessions are 45 minutes.
– DISCUSSION of what Wendy does to help dogs w/ hydrotherapy. Low-impact exercise. Helps your dog to fight aging issues, weight loss and more. Enhances range of motion, balance, mobility and flexibility. Can be customized to your dog’s needs. Relaxes both mind and body. Done in warm water. Treats stress and loneliness.
– DISCUSSION of Canine massage therapy. Description of the tank and treadmill. Wendy gets in the warm water w/ the dog. Good for all ages and types of dogs. Helps w/ joint support, stress and pain. 2. AT ‘T says it won’t do video back up anymore? (Just like dial up service is no longer needed.)
– REPORT that you should read the emails you will see that it’s a scam BECAUSE IT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE.
– Report that if you open the email you may enable the sender to access your information, etc.
3. How often should you have a phone checked? (Wait until something ISN’T WORKING)
– REPORT that WALKING IN to the store is great and they’ll take a good look @ things for you.
– DISCUSSION that you can bring things in, if you can, or he will work w/ you over the phone and he will also come to you.
– REMINDER not to let anyone IN TO YOUR COMPUTER if you don’t know them.
– RECOMMENDATIONS that they will do a diagnostic exam of your computer FIRST. On a case-by-case basis.

– MISSION STATEMENT; Dementia Help Center is the rescue plan for family caregivers. Offer individual and family coaching, personalized planning, care management and placement when the time comes. Fear cripples, but knowledge empowers. Strive to educate, inform and manage the disease and then to thrive.
– REPORT that 64% of family members who care for Dementia/Alzheimer’s patients will develop CHRONIC ILLNESSES of their own and frequently DIE before the patient they are caring for. NOW there is NO CONVERSATION as opposed to other illnesses where the patient can still talk and understand.
– DISCUSSION that there are over 110 forms of Dementia.
– REPORT that Dementia is NOT part of aging.
– NEED TO KNOW; 1. Timelines are different. 2. Can be very aggressive. 3. Can diagnosis w/ an MRI or PET SCAN.

3. Be careful about “crowds”.

8. Stick to their routine as much as possible.
9. Take advantage of available perks when traveling by air.
