– REPORT that Wendy rescued dogs OFF THE STREETS in Mexico for 10 years.
– DESCRIPTION of all the services @ Barkingham Pet Hotel. Also CA. Paws Rescue, which focuses on Bull Terriers. A very high energy dog.
– REPORT on the care she provides for Senior Dogs @ Barkingham Pet Hotel. They age first in their rear legs. How beneficial water treatment/hydrotherapy is for these dogs.
– REPORT TODAY ON WENDY; She was brought into the shelter w/ 9 fractures from either jumping or being thrown out of a car!!!! She had a 5-hour surgery. Went into foster AND GOT ADOPTED. She comes in for therapy @ Barkingham and also swim sessions in her home pool. She’s very relaxed now.
– REPORT TODAY ON ZEKE; He is 12 years old and has a week back. Now he not only can walk better, but RUNS!!!
– REPORT that the majority of Wendy’s work @ Barkingham is to strengthen muscles. Swelling goes down.
– DISCUSSION of how therapeutic massage therapy is to dogs.
– REPORT on “acupressure” and “acupuncture” for dogs as well.
– DISCUSSION that her sessions are 45 minutes.
– DISCUSSION of what Wendy does to help dogs w/ hydrotherapy. Low-impact exercise. Helps your dog to fight aging issues, weight loss and more. Enhances range of motion, balance, mobility and flexibility. Can be customized to your dog’s needs. Relaxes both mind and body. Done in warm water. Treats stress and loneliness.
– DISCUSSION of Canine massage therapy. Description of the tank and treadmill. Wendy gets in the warm water w/ the dog. Good for all ages and types of dogs. Helps w/ joint support, stress and pain. Can add aromatherapy and music therapy. Improves sleep. Will increase circulation and healthy bowels. Dogs swim naturally.
