– REPORT that they are open from 9 AM to 7 PM weekdays and Sundays 12 Noon to 5 PM
– DISCUSSION of the changes that tech has brought to our young people.
– QUESTIONS FROM “JOEY PALS”
1. How often to I need to clear the trash on my computer. (Really no need. Just keep 10% free on your hard drive. Even once every couple of years.)
2. AT ‘T says it won’t do video back up anymore? (Just like dial up service is no longer needed.)
– REPORT that you should read the emails you will see that it’s a scam BECAUSE IT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE.
– Report that if you open the email you may enable the sender to access your information, etc.
3. How often should you have a phone checked? (Wait until something ISN’T WORKING)
– REPORT that WALKING IN to the store is great and they’ll take a good look @ things for you.
– DISCUSSION that you can bring things in, if you can, or he will work w/ you over the phone and he will also come to you.
– REMINDER not to let anyone IN TO YOUR COMPUTER if you don’t know them.
– RECOMMENDATIONS that they will do a diagnostic exam of your computer FIRST. On a case-by-case basis.
– REPORT that over time computers make their own updates and changes.
