– DISCUSSION that the remodeling of the Thousand Palms location is NOW OPEN. 72120 Pet Land Place, 1000 Palms. Urgent care, oncology, cardiology, and basic services.
– REPORT that “Dogust” is the official birthday for shelter dogs.
REPORT on the Poorly Drawn Pets, in it’s 2nd year. Volunteer artists drew a piece of art based on a photo of a pet sent in w/ $20. Donation. Sonny Cool Cat was drawn by their own Dr. Kingsley. www.animalsamaritans.org/dogust. Fun and hilarious.
– DISCUSSION that spay and neuter services are more reasonably priced and even financial aid is available.
– REPORT that August was the official birthday of all shelter dogs.
– REPORT on the Sat., Dogust 23; 11 AM – 1 PM. At the Rowan, Palm Springs. Bday PLUS Bingo. Doggies for adoption.

1. Sun., Dec., 7; – 16th Annual Men of the Desert Fashion Show and Luncheon “Walk in the Park” 11 AM – 2 PM @ the P.S. Air Museum. Fashion show put on by Susan Stein. Raises money for Adoption Alliance. Tickets on sale soon.
– REPORT on the Adoption fees are $90 for kitties and $250. for puppies.
– REPORT that volunteers are ALWAYS NEEDED.
