– DISCUSSION of what a “nurse practitioner” is;
– PATRICIA PROVIDES SERVICES SUCH AS; Same as in a doctor’s office; She can;
1. Diagnose 2. Treat. 3. Prescribe. 4. Referrals as needed (Xrays, home health care, etc), 5. Do blood tests right there, deliver it to the lab and get you the results. 6. Check-ups.
– DEFINITION of an Adult Nurse Practitioner; a nurse who went back to school and has a Master’s Degree and MAKES HOUSE CALLS.
– DISCUSSION of how the typical house call goes.
– REPORT on how convenient her services are for many folks for many reasons. Good to know your “starting point” from your blood work.
– REPORT on her concierge services for folks 18 and over.
– REPORT that Patricia can prescribe GENERIC BRANDS and save you MONEY!!!
– REPORT that she is the ONLY nurse practitioner who has this type of practice in the Coachella Valley.

1. Don’t drive.
2. Don’t want to sit in the doctor’s office AND WAIT to be seen.
3. Don’t have to get up and get dressed, can be seen while bedridden.
4. How long the wait time is to get an appointment w/ your primary care physician now. Patty can see you in a very timely manner.
– QUESTIONS FROM “JOEY PALS”
1. Are there different strengths of flu vaccines? (Yes, because there are different strains of flu. One vaccine has 4 times the antigens of another one. You should get a flu vaccine every year.)
2. What is IBS-C.? (Irritable bowel syndrome w/ constipation. Bloating, cramping, urgency, incontinence. Different degrees. Can be treated, but the drastic outcome would require surgery.)
3. Are the drugs advertised on TV credible and dependable? (Dr. really hate it when a patient says “I saw this on TV”.)
4. Is Peanut Butter good for Wellness? (Yes, unless you have an allergy to same. High in Protein. Has Vit., E and Vit., B12. Can help lower bad cholesterol.)
5. Is Intermittent Fasting good/safe for Seniors? (Depends on overall health. Just be certain to stay hydrated.)
– REPORT that you can become a patient w/ a yearly fee or she can bill Medicare and her visits are charged to insurance.
– REPORT that she can write prescriptions. Even for bio-identical hormones as well.
– REPORT that many of her patients are seniors.
