– DISCUSSION of her history w/ Spotlight 29, Trump, (best boss she ever had) the Tribe. She then moved from Orange Country and started FG Creative in 2002.
– HER MANTRA; Don’t give up. Her life lessons.
– REPORT that her first client was El Paseo. YAY!!! 23 years ago.
– REPORT on the City of Palm Desert.
1. Huge road repair for El Paseo. Will be wonderful. It’s going very quickly. Be patient. Great parking is available. Merchants on board.
2. Started “Explore El Paseo Passes”. Download onto your phone, lots of discounts and offers for merchants, restaurants, etc.
– DISCUSSION that almost ALL of El Paseo is leased now. Not so seasonal.
– REPORT on the Civic Park/P.D. Aquatic Center
– The Aquatic Center is City Owned, but run by the YMCA of the Desert.
– Heading into a FULL RENOVATION in the Fall. Filters, etc., are wearing out. Staff is keeping the pools open. Closing lap pool once in a while. Fri. – Sunday the lap pool WILL BE OPEN. The REST is all open.
– Most of the access is FREE. Parking is FREE. Small charge for the Aquatic Center. New obstacle course there.
– The library has been renovated (inside the park).
– KUDOS to the Palm Desert City Council.
