1. What’s the latest w/ SCOTUS and parental rights? (Washington DC Montgomery County opted OUT of books about LGBTQIA for religious reasons in elementary school classes. Board of Ed. Said “no”. Rights of School Board to educate kids, vs. rights of parents to control what their children learn for religious reasons. Decision will come down from SCOTUS soon before their session ends.)
2. Is it true that once you have been pardoned, you cannot “take the 5th” again? (As it relates to the crime FOR WHICH you have been pardoned. Depends on whether it’s a Federal or State Pardon. Can we prosecuted in federal and state courts for the same crime.)
3. What is the definition of racketeering? (It’s an organized activity whereby multiple crimes are being committed. )
– FOCUS OF ROBERT’S PRACTICE.
1. Personal bankruptcy. There are lots of chapters in personal bankruptcies. Either Chapter 7 where you get all your debts discharged as long as you get rid of all the secured items. Mortgages also. You CANNOT discharge student loans, judgements against you from a DUI, or a tort, or last 3 years of income taxes. Or a Chapter 13 where if you make more than the median income in CA ($70,000/yr for a single person) you MUST do a 13. A Chapter 13 has a payment plan.
2. BK will be on your FICA for 10 years.
– REPORT that when you file a Chapter 7 Robert can get you a 700 credit score in a year if you do what he says.
