– REPORT that Kim has been @ Manhattan 20 years.
– REPORT on the renovations @ Manhattan In The Desert. New owners, new bar (bar bites, sports scene bar) w/ great Happy Hour w/ drinks and food, 5 TV’s.
– DISCUSSION of the NEW AMERICAN POPE from Chicago.
– REPORT that the bakery is STILL there.
– REPORT that the budget for new booths, lighting, ceiling, patio, etc. was $750,000. Kept the restaurant open during the remodeling. Worked all night.
– REPORT that the restaurant has been there 21 years on Sept., 15, ’25.
– REPORT on the location and hours; NOW Mon., – Fri., 10 AM to 8:30 PM. 7 days a week. SUMMER HOURS as of June 1; weekdays 10 AM TO 8:30 PM and weekends 8 AM to 8:30 PM.
– DISCUSSION of the menu that Kim designed. Options for folks who do NOT drink during Happy Hour; 2 – 6 PM; BUT starting June 1, Happy Hour; open to close Mon., – Fri. IF YOU ARE SEATED IN THE BAR. $5. Wine, $15. Charcuterie Platter.
