– DISCUSSION that Rick won an $8,000. Trip to Antiga on the morning show w/ Kelly and Marc ON NATIONAL TELEVISION by answering the trivia question correctly.
– DISCUSSION of what comment they hear the most from their clients. “Didn’t think the Desert would have this much foliage.” The desert doesn’t bloom every year.
– REPORT that Red-Jeep Tours is in it’s 36th year.
1. San Andreas Fault Tour – will do during the summer.
2. Indian Canyons – not during the summer.
3. Joshua Tree – on request.
4. Painted Canyon Tour – not during the summer.
– REPORT that there are 5 Canyons; Palm, Andreas, Murray, Chino and Tahquitz REPORT on the 3 ways the plates move. 1. Subduction zone. 2. Plate spreading. 3. Strike/slip.
– REPORT that the Tour Schedule has changed for the summer. Starts @ 7 AM to 10 now. Only early morning because of the heat. No afternoon tours.
– ANNOUNCEMENT that they are hiring…MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE A MANUAL TRANSMISSION.
