ANIMAL SAMARITANS w/ Valerie Kattz and Jarred Ellis 73-407 Ramon Road, Thousand Palms, CA.
– All animals are vaccinated, spayed, neutered and micro-chipped. Goes by their weight, not age. Need for fosters.
– REPORT on “YAPPY HOUR” Ap., 19 w/ Gypsy @ Booze Hounds on 2080 N. Palm Canyon in Palm Springs. Info on events page of www.animalsamaritans.org. Brought dogs on a leash. Donation was $10.
– REPORT that “Yappy Hour” will start up when it gets cooler @ Booze Hounds. They have a bar and a taco bar.
– REPORT on “CATERDAY” – Sat., Ap., 27 @ the Rowan. 9 – 11 AM, $20 donation. With breakfast w/ a choice of 2 things, all the mimosas you can drink. Adoption event. Fabulous food and all the kitties were adopted. DISCUSSION of the roof top bar @ the Rowan.
– HOLD THE DATE: Sat., Dogust 24; 11 to 1 PM. $20. Wine and lunch. “Dogust” birthday bash. All shelter dogs celebrate their birthday month in August. Prizes too.
– REPORT that June is “adopt a cat month”.
– HOLD THE DATE: SUN., DEC., 8 – 15TH annual “Men of the Desert” themed “Back to the Future” @ the Palm Springs Air Museum.
– DISCUSSION of Ronny Raven @ my house and Sonny Cool Cat and the Koi Pond.
