TOOLS FOR TOMORROW w/ Andrea Hecht Executive Director and Emily Culhan Program Director re: 42699 Cook Street, STE. 202, Palm Desert,

– HOLD THE DATE: Mon. Feb., 26. “Vision for the Future” gala honoring Joe Giarusso, Pres. of the P.S.I.P.C. Held @ the Agua Caliente Casino Rancho Mirage.
– REPORT on their mission statement; they have teaching artists that go to the school. They are an after-school program that integrates all the different areas of the arts for children. They partner w/ Palm Springs and Desert Sands Unified School Districts. They will be in 27 schools this year.
– REPORT that these programs are FREE to the children and the schools. They provide “kits” for FREE as well.
– REPORT that “sessions” are 8 to 12 weeks depending on the school. After hours. 90 minute class.
– DISCUSSION of the need for volunteers.
