CALIFORNIA DREAMERS w/ Sally Davies re: Her new book.
– REPORT that she is basically a photographer and is from New York. She goes back and forth to Palm Springs. Well-known for her “street photography.”
– DISCUSSION that her first book was called “New Yorkers”. Photos and a little story about people @ home. It was a best seller and sold out in two weeks.
– DEFINITION of “California Dreamers”. Same format. She started w/ 4 people to do this book for Southern California. Palm Springs, LA and the surrounding area.
– REPORT that the cover is of the Gands. i.e. Gand Band.
– REPORT that she asked the same questions of everybody she interviewed.
– HOLD THE DATE; Book signing @ Just Fabulous on Oct., 21st. From 1 – 3 PM.
– REPORT that there are 80 people in each book and she photographs twice that many.
