PALM SPRINGS CHAMBER OF COMMERCE w/ Nona Watson re: 190 W. Amado Rd., Palm Springs.
– REPORT on her time living in Hawaii and her reflections on the horrific fire.
– HOLD THE DATE: Wed., Sept., 20 “Taste of Palm Springs and Business Expo” w/ the Queen Tribute Band @ the Indian Canyons Golf Resort. 6 to 9 PM. Buy your tickets on-line. Will have over 40 restaurants and 60 booths. Bring your business cards and take some from the venders.
– REPORT that you should buy your tickets ahead of time on-line. Take your chair for the concert in and set it up and then go to all the venders.
– DISCUSSION of the set-up and strike schedule for this event.
– REPORT on the kick off for “Rock the Park” Dec., thru May w/ tribute bands for Tina Turner, Chicago, Garth Brooks, etc.,
– REPORT that the “Rock the Park” series is @ the Downtown Park.
– REPORT on the Walk of the Stars shuts down during the summer. Back up in September.
– REPORT on the Tuesday Lead$ Lunches. Check the website for locations in July.
