EISENHOWER HEALTH w/ Dr. Jonathan Bechard (Medical Director for Internal Medicine training in Cathedral City) and Lee Rice (Media Coordinator and Communications Specialist) re: 39000 Bob Hope Drive, Rancho Mirage, CA. 92270.
– ANNOUNCEMENTS: EH will have a birthing center; EH just performed the “watchman” procedure for the 100th time; EH for the 7 year was named leader in the LGBTQ health care field!!!
– DISCUSSION of the fact that EH is a culturally competent facility operating in a safe environment.
– DISCUSSION of how the employees are being trained to treat all patients w/ no judgement and in a safe space. This competency training occurs for employees every year.
– DISCUSSION of how residents are taught to take patient’s histories: sexual, medical, mental health etc.
– Training the doctors of the future.
