– REPORT that Eisenhower Health has been recognized as a Top Teaching Hospital in the entire nation, by the Leapfrog Group. EH became the CV’s first teaching hospital.
– DISCUSSION of how the selection process worked. Only 120 or so in the nation are named to this list.
– REPORT that this honor pertains to quality AND safety. To even be considered you have to have been an “A” hospital. EH has been ranked an “A” hospital 5 years in a row.
– DISCUSSION of how the evaluation is made. Some thru Data, Medicare and some “on-site”.
– EH is the area only 5 Star CMS Hospital. Only 10% of hospitals in the U.S. receive this rank.
– The hospitals are judged in 4 categories.

3. General
4. Rural
