DESERT ARC w/ Richard Balocco, re: CEO w/ Desert Arc for 17 years.
– REPORT on Mission Statement; “ to enhance the lives of the developmentally disabled and to provide opportunities for people w/ disabilities”. Celebrating 65 years here in the Coachella Valley. In the beginning there was no funding for the developmentally disabled. Ages 18 to 22. A day program, Monday thru Friday. 25 bus routes.
– HOLD THE DATE: FREE Nov., 18; Italian Festival & Car Show; w/ P.S. Corvette Club, Scorpions Car Club; P.S. Cruise Assoc. Southwest Church. Corner of Fred Waring and Washington. FREE PARKING 9 AM – 3 PM. Partnering w/ Mario’s who is providing all the food and the proceeds go to Desert Arc. Each one of the 4 schools Mario raises funds for will provide the entertainment.
