PALM SPRINGS INTERNATIONAL PIANO COMPETITION w/ Robert Koenig re: Artistic Director.
– REPORT that he just completed his first year.
– MISSION STATEMENT for the competition for pianists in the Junior Level ages 8 thru 17. Planned for Spring of 2025.
– REPORT on this Season.
1. Dec., 1 @ the Annenberg. Cello and Piano Recital “Latin Fire”. With internationally acclaimed cellist Sara Sant’Ambrogio and PSIPC’s Robert Koenig.
– REPORT that they have just recorded this program on a CD to be released in 10 days.
– DISCUSSION of how/when they were able to rehearse living thousands of miles apart.
– REPORT that they have been performing together for 2 decades.
– REPORT that Robert and Sara will be going into local schools to perform while Sara is here.
