– REPORT that DWA will be spending 8.5 million a year on pipe replacement.
– REPORT that the public is invited to attend these workshops and ask questions.
– HOLD THE DATE; June 10 @ Cathedral City Senior Center. The first rate workshop was recorded and is on the DWA website to peruse.
– DISCUSSION of the impact of the heat we are getting ready for on our grass and the increased water use we will experience. TIME TO CHECK YOUR SPRINKERS.
– QUESTIONS from “Joey Pals”
1. Is there a reduction in the water we will get from the Colorado River until 2026? (Yes, but not much of an impact here in the Coachella Valley. More for Arizona and Nevada will feel this as well. The Imperial Irrigation District will feel this as well.)
