– DISCUSSION of the birds that go after the Koi fish in ponds. Wildbird Sanctuary in Indio.
– REPORT that Volunteers are need. “Cat Cuddlers” for the over 40 cats they have now.
– HOLD THE DATE; Oct., 22 @ the River for “Bark-tober” from 11 AM to 2 PM. Pet Halloween Costume Contest. Pet costumes for sale as well.
– HOLD THE DATE: “Yappy Hour”. Every 2nd Thurs., of every month from 4 – 6 PM @ Margaritaville starting November 10th thru April. Bring your dog on a leash. $20. Donation. Serving wine.
– HOLD THE DATE; Sun., Dec., 4 “Men of the Desert Show”. 11 AM silent auction. 12 NOON luncheon and fashion show. Dogs, fashion, food. At the Palm Springs Air Museum. If a fella doesn’t have a dog he can use an Animal Companion Dog. Food by LuLu’s. No dogs in the audience please, just in the show.
– DISCUSSION of the need for foster parents and forever homes for animals.
