NEURO VITALITY CENTER w/ Bev Greer re: Chief Executive Officer. 2800 E. Alejo Rd., Palm Springs, CA. 92262.
– REPORT on the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and the procedures they are going thru @ NVC to keep everyone healthy.
– REPORT that they suspended their services but are working w/ the State, the Gov., HIPAA, and the Dept., of Aging that is allowing them to do virtual/telephonic/Zoom conferencing.
– REPORT that they will send home activities to keep clients active; same w/ speech therapy.
– DISCUSSION of the mental attitude of their clients in Isolation.
– NVC is the only facility of its kind IN THE WORLD and families will be missing the “break” from each other provided by the NVC.
– REPORT that they will DELIVER food for folks who need it.
– PLEA for any funding folks can contribute. Kudos to their regular supporters.
– Licensed for 300 clients a day and the demand will go up when this is over.
