RESTAURANT OF THE WEEK w/ John Fritch, re: Elevated Experiences aka “Peaks Restaurant” @ 1 Tram Way, Palm Springs, CA. 92262.
– Voted #8 IN THE WORLD for Cliff-side dining by Architectural Digest!!!!
– REPORT on the Great Food Truck Race w/ 5 teams, filmed by the Food Network on and at the Tram. John was one of the guest judges.
– Temperature is about 40 degrees cooler up @ Peaks than on the desert floor.
– DISCUSSION of newer, lighter menus for summer and Peaks, Pines Café (Grab ‘n Go) and Lookout Lounge facilities. Reservations recommended. Kids welcome too.
– DISCUSSION of new summer drinks, infused w/ their own vodkas.
– Shut down in Sept. for maintenance.
– DISCUSSION of the Tramcam on the website for information on weather and a look @ the views!
