HANUKKAH w/ Rabbi Sally Olins re: Rabbi Emeritus Temple Isaiah.
– Hanukkah sundown Sunday, Dec.,2 – sundown Monday, Dec.,10.
– Explanation of the meaning of Hanukkah. Basically the right to worship the way one pleases. Celebrate Hanukkah for 8 days. The miracle of the lighting of the candle that lasted 8 days.
– Rabbi Sally is the “Coffee House Rabbi” for a group that meets the 1st and 3rd Sunday @ 10 AM @ the Hyatt Hotel. Classes that teach gratitude and is open to ALL.
– Rabbi Sally will do memorial services for pets/animals for familys.

– Often losing a pet is harder for some than losing a human being.
– Best gift for a pet – A COLLAR. Facebook/lostandfoundpets.
– Any vet will scan an animal for a microchip. Change phone number on the chip registry.
– DO NOT gift a pet unless the recipient picks what pet they want. Give a gift voucher.
– Do an “age appropriate” adoption. Older folks need to be able to bend over, clean a litter box, take the pet to the vet, etc.,
– Loving All Animals and the Pet Rescue Center have become the Loving All Animals Pet Rescue Center.
– We need volunteers to play with dogs and cats, to feed and clean them. Fun and worthwhile volunteer opportunities for anyone over 17 years of age.
