ACT FOR MS w/ Ann Greer re: The Charity’s Mission Statement: providing assistance for CV Residents living w/ MS. Helping clients live stronger, longer.
– Gloria Greer started ACT for MS in 1999. because one of her twin daughters has MS.
– Discussion of the services ACT for MS provides. i.e. Circulation therapy, chair yoga, water aerobics, mobility needs, etc.
– Symptoms of MS seem to appear all at once. No idea of the cause and no known cure as yet.
– Have just found that if you delay taking medication or doing therapy for MS because you do not yet have symptoms, the MS becomes a permanent part of the brain.
– Diagnosed w/ an MRI of the spine and brain.
