Study in NEJM said Paxlovid was being given it to low-risk patients, so it wasn’t so effective. It works with the FLIRT variant. )
2. What is ATTR-CM? (It’s hereditary. Life ending. Horrible disease. Symptoms are back ache, spinal stenosis, carpel tunnel, can have AFib & heart failure. There are drugs but no cure. Medicine can be $35,000/year.)

3. Does the risk of bowel cancer double if you drink 2 glasses of sodas? (It’s a sugar consideration. 2/3 of kids under 18 and 50% of adults LOVE SODAS. Sugar makes you obese which increases the risk of cancer. Tumors LOVE sugar. Cereal causes the same risk. Study was done @ MD Anderson in Texas. Risk is down to folks in their 30’s now. )
4. Can RSV be transmitted by kissing YOUR BABY? (Yes, it’s highly transmittable. Person who is the host is infected 2 days before symptoms. Will go away in 3 – 5 days. But more and more seniors are being hospitalized. We have vaccines for this. Adults and babies. Seasonal.)
