– REPORT that we are in our 85th week of Pandemic. Will be able to go out for Halloween.
– REPORT that the State of CA. is making tremendous progress. We have the fewest number of new cases in the nation. Best performing state. Fewer folks in hospital. Positivity is below 5%.
– REPORT that the case rate if 10 per 100,000. Coachella Valley is 65% fully vaccinated. People have MADE UP THEIR MINDS as to whether or not get vaccinated.
– REPORT that there is pressure in the workplace to get vaccinated. BUT OVER ½ of D.O.H.C. employees are vaccinated. Deaths are over 1130 but 1/3 of those were D.O.H.C. clients. The legal aspects of the mandate from your work place.
– DISCUSSION of where to get exemption cards.
– REPORT that more people have died this year from COVID than last year AND WE HAVE THE VACCINES now. That is “junk” information.
– REPORT that if I got Covid and recovered, are my immunities better after the vaccine or my own immunity.
– REPORT that some patients who got sick and recovered from Covid, DO NOT PRODUCE immunities, but the vaccine you get then, give you 10 times the immunity than you would produce naturally.
– REPORT that we should be moving into the pediatric vaccination cycle soon.

1. Kids and Covid? Is Covid a big threat to kids? (The great debate. Kids under 12 made up only 27% of cases. Kids DO get Covid and DO SPREAD Covid. The Delta variant. They don’t get REALLY SICK. Only 300 deaths in kids from Covid. Thousands have been in hospital, get pretty sick, but DON’T DIE. Kids w/ Covid are LIKE KIDS W/ THE FLU. We want to vaccinate them to get them back in school, give them some normalcy in their society. Most of the surges for kids happen in low-income states. These kids are a vector to spread Covid to older folks and most kids are asymptomatic.)

1. Are all the TV commercials that promote term life insurance credible? (Not necessarily. The commercial leaves out a lot of variables that you probably won’t quality for. He specializes in term life. The longer the term the more expensive it is. Least expensive way to go.)
– REPORT on mortgage insurance. Is outside of the loan of your house. Best to discuss w/ Dennis. Usually need 5 to 10% of your annual income for your death benefit. Best to get a 30-year term. Over 65 should get a 10 to 15-year term.
– REPORT that only 2% of all policies are paid out. Buy term and invest the rest.
– REPORT that Ascend Insurance sends out reminders for your insurance important dates.
– REPORT that homeowners insurance rates are going up and folks are shopping their policy and its rate w/ Dennis. Most new clients are making the deductibles $2500.

– REPORT on the report from the President of the IDSA who said the end was no where in sight. Brian disagrees.
– REPORT that the 2nd surge was the end of July. The Delta vs. Alpha variant. Now the numbers are so much better. Delta is now 99% of all of the virus today. Only about 40 cases in hospital now.
– REPORT that a new variant came and went. BUT E48Q mutation might escape the immune therapies.
– REPORT that the Delta is so predominate that we won’t see another variant for some time.
– REPORT that we should be moving into the pediatric vaccination cycle soon.
– REPORT that the scientific community is monitoring all aspects of the virus, the spike protein etc. CONSTANTLY. Delta continues to dominate the “race”. Progress is being made.
