– REPORT that we are in our 10th week of “sheltering in place”.
– REPORT that Coachella Valley is beginning to open up. CV has only 1200 positive cases.
– DOHC members call (760) 969-6555 for free testing thru DOHC.
– REPORT that if you are within 6 feet of ANYONE, wear a mask. Risk of contracting the COVID-19 goes from 2% to 70% if you don’t have a mask on, even if you are asymptomatic. WASH YOUR HANDS.
– REPORT on the virus in children now in every state.
– CDC late breaking information; NOW, Hydroxychloroquine is not considered effective against the virus. Remdesivir studies also do not show any benefit for coronavirus patients.

– Convalescent plasma is promising.

– EXPLANATION that insurance companies (Dennis represents over 30 of them) have gotten together to reimburse 15% for 2 months of premiums for Auto ONLY for April and May. You don’t have to call your Insurance Agent, this will be done automatically.
– REPORT that for Commercial Insurance Clients, they will get a similar deal and again, you don’t need to call anyone.
– FAMILY UPDATE. Another son is engaged!!! REPORT on the baby due to another son in July.
– QUESTION about insuring a car/truck that is not being driven. Do a “non-op”. EXPLANATION of a multiple car rate, with a lower rate for each car even though the overall cost may go up a bit.
