– DISCUSSION of the procedure to treat strokes. Importance of the first 3 hours. “Seen time” @ patient’s house for emergency personnel is 5 minutes. “Code 10” @ EH Code Ten Deck is 10 minutes. (that Kathy developed).
– DISCUSSION of the causes of stroke.
– DISCUSSION of the folks most susceptible to strokes, even pregnant women.
– DISCUSSION of prevention of stroke. i.e. Exercise, don’t smoke, check your blood pressure, cut out stress, watch your weight, etc.

– REPORT that the analytical aspect of BB has slowed the game.
– REPORT on BASKETBALL’s John Wooden Award and Tournament.
– REPORT on THE BNP TENNIS TOURNAMENT; a lot of Ukrainian athletes have quite sports and joined the Ukrainian Army.

– REPORT on the mission statement for HARC. They are a non-profit. Located in Palm Desert. They provide research and evaluation to improve the quality of life across the Coachella Valley and Inland Empire.
– DISCUSSION that HARC has been in existence since 2006/
– REPORT on how they get their information. Based on the fact that the CV has different trends and stories that anyone else and therefore data needs to be collected.
– REPORT that after the data is collected it is provided BACK to the community FREE of Charge to enable organizations to plan their services to better serve the population.
– DISCUSSION that this survey is done every 3 years and for the first time it will be MAILED out, not a phone survey.
