– HOLD THE DATE: March 23, “Blank Canvas” the second annual fund-raising garden party. 3 – 6 PM in a private home in the San Andreas Canyons. The location will be disclosed when the ticket is purchased. All guests will be asked to help create a large painting to raffle off.

– REPORT that the monies are used for Community Art Education throughout the Coachella Valley.
– DISCUSSION that this group started in 1950 and is the oldest art organization in the Valley.

– REPORT that puppy and kitten season is coming.
1. March 23 & 24 – 11 AM – 1 PM; Pet Smart Palm Springs National Adoption event on Ramon in Thousand Palms. (Always there on the 1st Sat., of every month) Pet Smart gives back a bit from the adoptions.
2. March 26 Puppy and Kitten adoption – @ their No kill Shelter on Ramon in Thousand Palms from 1 – 4.
All animals are vaccinated, spayed, neutered and micro-chipped. Goes by their weight, not age. Need for fosters.
-Yappy Hour is back @ Booze Hounds on Palm Canyon in Palm Springs. Info on events page of www.animalsamaritans.org. Bring dogs on a leash. Donation is $10.
