– REPORT that the scourge is declining.  Hospitalizations are low.
– REPORT that 80 million Americans have had Covid. 210 million Americans are vaccinated.       
– REPORT that the cells in your nose LACK THE RECEPTORS and CANNOT GET INFECTED W/ COVID.  It’s the cells around the receptors that get infected and cause the cells to change. Explains why some folks got a loss of smell and many did not.

1. Honeybee venom will cure breast cancer. (Perhaps.  There is so much information/advancements in the world of breast cancer.  Now less than heart disease.)
2. Will Omicron be ending the Pandemic? (Most likely.  The Omicros spread like wildfire but didn’t cause much sickness that we should reach a point where there are no more folks to get infection.  Natural immunity comes into play.)
3. Will Superbowl cause a huge increase in cases. (Probably not, outdoor event.)
– REPORT on a new treatment that’s an alternative protection if you DON’T WANT TO GET VACCINATED. Probably will have to get this treatment every 6 months. D.O.H.C. has all the tools in their toolbox to treat Covid.
– REPORT that Brian hopes this virus will become more “flu-like” in the next few months.

NEURO VITALITY CENTER w/ Allan H. Jensen re: Ex. Dir. and Program Director – 2800 E. Alejo Rd., Palm Springs.
– REPORT that Neuro Vitality Center is OFFICIALLY OPEN TO THE PUBLIC and new clients are coming in. All ages are welcome….mostly 65 and older but ALL AGES.
– DISCUSSION of their mission statement. Basically treat the person, NOT the disease.
– REPORT on how new clients whose membership is NOT provided by insurance CAN NOW APPLY for coverage thru THE NEURO VITALITY FOUNDATION by calling Sarah Sutton @ NVC. Info also posted on www.neurovitalityfoundation.org.
– REPORT that coverage thru THE FOUNDATION is based on a sliding income scale.  NVC will do ALL the paperwork. Possible payment of part of the $85./day costs.
– REPORT on all the services, including the full-time kitchen.  Work w/ CVAS program.
– DISCUSSION that if clients can’t make it into the facility, there are virtual classes.
– DISCUSSION of how to join NVC.

4. Takes about 3 days to get you into the program.
5. Then you can come in 1 to 5 days a week.
6. Then Allan will work to get you into the Sunline Transportation System and their great drivers.
– REPORT on the food: Day starts w/ a continental breakfast, At noon you’re served a great lunch menu on website. 
– REPORT that NVC is open from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM and sees clients from 8 AM to 2:30 PM for anyone w/ neurological issues.
– EXCITING NEWS – The “Open Mic Night” Wed., Feb., 16 in the Foundation Lounge.  Sign up starts @ 6 PM. Accompanied by Mr. Joel Baker. Appetizers and a “donation” bar too.
