– DISCUSSION of Holy Week, leading up to Easter.
– DISCUSSION of Lent, what it means, when it comes. The ashes are a sign of the cross on forehead or hand. Marking the time of his ministry, our own mortality and what comes after this life. Reminder of our mortality and where we came from. “We are from the stardust and God created us”.
– REPORT on Holy Week, Easter this coming Sunday. 10 AM sermon.
– REPORT on last week’s Animal Blessings. Parnered w/ P.S. Animal Shelter on their campus. GREAT EVENT. All dogs, no cats. www.psanimalshelter.org.

1. May 4 – Guest speakers are Dean Erlich from Forest Lawn and Joshua Arthur from J. Arthur Law Firm to talk about transitioning into the next life. Worship @ 10; Bingo and FREE catered lunch @ 11; Workshop @ 12; Help make “Blessing Bags” after that for the homeless.
2. NEW EVENT…..May 10 – Local Cultural Fair @ the Church. Partnering w/ Cathedral City. Call if you want to display your works. Call (760) 832-8403. No fee to display your works, just a donation if you wish.
