– DISCUSSION between Rick and Daniel that there is a new stop sign that is really needed @ the Airport.
– UPDATE on the construction of the Master Plan; Talks about what we need and eventually WHERE IT WILL BE. “VinoVolo” and “Trio” will open in April; “Coachella Valley Coffee” is open.
– REPORT on the new pre-security “THE PINK DOOR”. On the public side, has snacks, coffee shop, shopping and NO SECURITY clearance needed.
– REPORT that March in ’25 there will be 32,000 more seats scheduled seats inbound and outbound.
– REPORT on new airline services: Alaska Airlines is going to Portland year round; Canadian Porter Airlines started Dec., 12 flying the new 195 E2; United’s new Wash/Dulles non-stop started Dec., 19; Delta will join Alaska for non-stop JFK and started Dec., 21; Allegiant will do year round service to Bellingham, WA.
– REPORT that in Season we average 70 to 77 flights a day. Only 30% of travel this time of year is people LEAVING P.S.
– REPORT that you can do your TSA pre-check AT THE AIRPORT. Start on-line then do your interview @ the airport. When you get to the airport go to the CLEAR Stand and tell them you are there for your TSA interview. SO on the new check-in procedure, i.e. TSA. – DISCUSSION of “Stay and Play” new visitor pass program.
