– REPORT that the International Piano Competition is held every 3 years.
– HOLD THE DATE; Annual Benefit. Jan., 27; 4:30 PM the Annual Benefit @ the Club @ Morningside w/ 18 year old Nathanial Zhang. Mention of the musical program. Future outlook for Nathanial Zhang.
– REPORT that they will be honoring Peggy Cravens. Discussion of what she did to increase the visibility of the PSIPC. Their plans for the International Visibility they are striving for.
– HOLD THE DATES; Ap., 11 – 19 @ Temple Isaiah. Then the finals w/ 4 finalists will be held Ap., 21 @ the McCallum Theatre w/ a full orchestra. Ages 13 – 17. Applicants from ALL OVER THE WORLD. DISCUSSION of the judges who will pick the top 25 contestants. Then a cut to 13, then a cut to 7 and then the finals. Where all these contestants come from.
– DISCUSSION of the prizes awarded by the PSIPC now.
