– DISCUSSION of Willow, her Brindle Boston Terrier.
– REPORT that Phase #1 of the Capital Campaign has begun. Thousand Palms Clinic is CLOSED. The shelter is still there.
– REPORT on 77840 Flora Road in Palm Desert is the temporary location for the Clinic. Same phone, etc., There until March.
– HOLD THE DATES:
1. Nov., 16 and Nov., 21 Adoption. 11 AM PetCo on 111 in Palm Desert.
2. First Sat., every month; Adoption. 11 AM Pet Smart on Monterey in Palm Desert.
– REPORT on the Adoption fees are $90 for kitties and $250. for puppies.
3. Sun., Dec., 8 – Will be the 15th annual Men of the Desert. 11 AM – 2 PM @ the Palm Springs Air Museum. “Back to the Future” is the theme. Auction, cocktails, food by Lulu, fashion show from Susan Stein. Tix on sale soon. $200.
– REPORT on how they have rescued over 16,000 animals from the County Shelters. There is a full-time staff member from Animal Samaritans who helps save the pets and get them the services they need.
