CROSSROADS TO CARE. w/ Patricia Ryan, Nurse Practitioner.
– MISSION STATEMENT: An RN who goes on to further studies and education and can diagnose, treat and prescribe medication. Renew a license each year.
– REPORT that Patty does Internal Medicine.
– REPORT that Patty COMES TO YOUR HOUSE….her practice covers the whole Coachella Valley.
– DISCUSSION that she has “regular” patients that she sees regularly IN THEIR HOMES. Does vital signs; referrals if need be; can draw blood, deliver to the lab and get the results for you and your doctor; interviews; prescribe medications.
– REPORT that lots of things are available to a person IN THEIR HOME. Ultra sound, X-Ray, Lab work, can be done in your home.
– DISCUSSION that she works in concert w/ your regular doctor.
– DISCUSSION of how she handles the Insurance issues. She accepts Medicare Ins. As a PPO. The Concierge Fee is not covered. Each visit to your home is covered by Medicare.
– REPORT on her different plans for her Concierge Service.
1. 1st Plan – once a year = $450.
2. 2nd Plan – every month (seasonal folks, she works w/ the doctor back in their primary residence town, lives w/ a caregiver) = $200/month.
3. 3rd Plan – Complete evaluation of your home for falls, safety, as well as all medical concerns. Goes to hospital w/ the person. = $300/month.
