– THEME FOR TODAY: “New Selby Dunham Community Lecture Series”,
– DISCUSSION of the history of Selby Dunham’s contributions and history of her battle w/ cancer..
– REPORT on how she provided the services needed for so many who couldn’t GET to their treatment appointments for a variety of reasons.
– REPORT on how she launched BAM (Behind a Miracle( @ Bighorn…i.e. the BAM Vans to transport patients.
– REPORT that support was provided for folks for their diagnosis, treatment and cancer patient care because of her efforts.
– DISCUSSION of all the life-saving treatment that Selby Dunham spearheaded w/ her “army” of helpers.
– DISCUSSION of all the 30 pieces of equipment, i.e. linear accelerator, etc., that has been purchased due to her efforts,
– REPORT that there are 6 clinical trials she provided for. Selby took a personal trial and turned it into a community blessing.
– REPORT that starting in Oct., EVERY time you walk into the Lucy Curci Cancer Center for anything it will be under Shelby Dunahm’s name.
– REMEMBER Oct., is breast cancer awareness month.
