– REPORT that Volunteers are need. “Cat Cuddlers” for the over 40 cats they have now.
– HOLD THE DATE; Adoption Events the next 3 Saturdays, September 3rd, 10th, 17th from 1 – 5 PM @ “Petco” @ Smoketree. Half off the cost of adoption. 2 for $85.
– DISCUSSION of how all the animals you adopt are spayed, neutered, vaccinated, microchipped etc.,
– HOLD THE DATE: September 22 @ 120% Leno Clothing on El Paseo for an adoption event. 11 AM to 1 PM. Animal Samaritans will receive a portion of sales.
– REPORT that Coldwell Banker is doing a month-long donation drive for Animal Samaritans. “Homes for Dogs”. Take items that shelters need and take to the 2 participating Coldwell Banker offices.
– HOLD THE DATE; Oct., 22 @ the River for “Bark-tober” from 11 AM to 2 PM. Pet Halloween Costume Contest.
– REPORT on location of the Animal Samaritans “no kill” shelter is @ 72307 Ramon Rd. Thousand Palms.
– DISCUSSION of the Capital Campaign and the new building that is HAPPENING in 1,000 Palms. Will break ground the start of 2023. Just got a pledge of $3 million dollars.
– DISCUSSION of the naming of the center after a Mom who loved animals.
– REPORT that this building will be the adoption and education center.
