– UPDATE that Moderna and Pfiser will release a new vaccine the end of September, to get along w/ flu shots.
– REPORT on “immune escapabality”. The current circulating virus is SO different and therefore the vaccine has a lower level of effectiveness. This new variant is causing very mild symptoms. Use to say 15 minutes are a true exposure, now with this variant it may be as low as 5 minutes.
– REPORT to “not worry”. Mask if you wish. NYC having a terrible resurgence now.
– REPORT that we have not had a real flu season in the U.S. in the last 2 years, BUT the CDC is concerned.
– REPORT that this flu season EVERYONE will get the “senior” dose of flu vaccine.
– REPORT that there is a reduction in risk of Alzheimers of 40% if you get regular flu shots!!!!!
